Job Description
The City of Pella, Iowa is accepting applications for the position of Personnel Officer.  The Personnel Officer is responsible for managing the City of Pella’s human resources functions. Duties include but are not limited to:  benefits administration, recruitment, personnel management, and safety coordination.  Hiring Range:  $64,000 - $76,000 DOQ/E.
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred;  
  • Three to five years of human resource or related experience;
  • HRCI-PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required. 
Other Requirements:
  • Pre-employment drug testing required.
